Wesak Full Moon Programme

Wesak Lantern-Making Workshop for Children

📅 Date: Saturday, 10th May 2025

⏰ Time: 2.00 PM

We welcome children to take part in a creative lantern-making workshop, an enjoyable way for them to engage with the Wesak celebrations.

Buddhanussati Bhavana During Wesak Week

📅 Date: 12th – 18th May 2025

⏰ Time: 9.00 PM (Daily via Zoom)

We will be conducting Buddhanussati Bhavana (recollection of the Buddha’s qualities) every evening throughout Wesak week. You are encouraged to join us online via Zoom.

Bhakthi Geetha and Dansela

📅 Date: Saturday, 17th May 2025

⏰ Time: 3.00 PM – 7.00 PM

To celebrate this year’s Vesak festival, Scotland Buddhist will be organising a special Dhamma Sermon, Puja, Bakthi Gee and Dansala on 17th of May 2025 at Milngavie Town Hall (G62 8BZ) from 3pm till 7pm.

Children and adults who would like to participate in singing Bakthi Gee, please inform your name and contact (WhatsApp) number to the vihara by 31st of March 2025 via e-mail or telephone.

Devotees who wish to give food contributions for Dansala, please refer the above list and let Vihara know about your food donations (by e-mailing). In addition to that devotees who wish to financially contribute to cover the costs for this programme, please contact the Vihara.
